Sometimes you take basic things for granted
Our electricity was not working since 1pm yesterday and has been on and off today. You really don’t notice how important having lights that work and a refrigerator to keep your food from spoiling are until you can’t use them. Thankfully the lights work right now because I had homework due at midnight. But I will start to appreciate having electricity and other basic necessities I usually take for granted like running water and hot water and having a roof over my head.
